At Ren Consulting, I work with leaders and organizations at this intersection combining a foundation in science and organizational development with decades of experience in healthcare, leadership, education, and cross-functional collaboration.

Where Data Meets Human Development
Leadership can be demanding, especially when you are navigating change, managing complex relationships, or stepping into greater responsibility. Even highly capable leaders benefit from having dedicated space to reflect, gain perspective, and become more intentional about how they lead.
My coaching approach combines emotional intelligence, self-awareness, adaptability, and practical behavior change, supported by evidence-based assessments including the EQ-i 2.0®, EQ 360®, and Change Style Indicator®. I bring in aspects of Strength-based coaching, Positive intelligence (PQ) and Mindfulness Intelligence (MQ).
I am particularly drawn to working with highly technical and analytical professionalsscientists, engineers, physicians, healthcare professionals, and other leaders whose expertise has taken them far and who recognize that leadership requires another set of capabilities:
"Communication. Empathy. Collaboration.
Adaptability. Self-regulation. Trust."
These are sometimes called soft skills. I see them as essential leadership skills
Together, we use assessments and conversation to understand where you are today, clarify where you want to go, and translate insight into behaviors you can practice in the real world.

A promising medical technology is only one part of improving patient care. Successful innovation also requires understanding the complex ecosystem surrounding it the physicians and clinicians who use it, the organizations that implement it, the patients who experience it, and the family members and caregivers who support the patients along the health journey.
I work with emerging healthcare technology companies to develop strategies and initiatives that bring these perspectives together. My role is often that of a connector, facilitator, and strategic partner helping organizations engage the people who can provide the insight necessary to move an idea, initiative, or technology forward.

At first glance, leadership coaching and MedTech consulting may seem like two different businesses. For me, they are deeply connected.Both are about people navigating complexity.
Both require curiosity and the ability to listen across perspectives.
Both depend on trust, communication, adaptability, and shared purpose.
And both benefit from creating the space for people to step outside of their individual expertise and see the larger system around them.
Throughout my career, I have been drawn to roles that bring people together across clinical disciplines, organizations, industries, cultures, and perspectives to turn ideas into action.
